When a rewire is the right call
If your home has any of the following, a rewire (partial or full) should be on your list:
- Knob-and-tube wiring (pre-1950s installations)
- Ungrounded 2-prong outlets throughout
- Aluminum branch wiring (1965–1973 era)
- Cloth-insulated or brittle-insulation wiring
- Repeated breaker trips with no clear cause
- Insurance company refusing to write a policy
- Any evidence of past DIY electrical work
How we approach a rewire
Every house is different. We walk the property, look at the panel, look at attic and crawlspace access, and plan the least invasive path for new wire runs.
Our techs are expert at pulling new wires through existing walls without cutting them open. When holes are necessary, we make them small and place them where they'll be easiest to patch. When we're done, a good drywaller can make it look like we were never there.
Every rewire includes new outlets, new switches, new AFCI/GFCI protection, a labeled panel, and a signed inspection.
